The EF 75 Falcon Guitar
The EF 75 Falcon Guitar
The EF 75 Falcon guitar is the fraternal twin of the ES 75 Siren Guitar. Both are 13 1/4” wide in the lower bout, but with a power and assertiveness that totally bely the small size. The short-scale (23” to 24 1/2”) Falcon performs like a small but very expensive Italian sports car...if guitars were cars, that is. The Falcon is a deft, acrobatic small-bodied guitar, capable of putting on quite a show, to amaze and delight the crowds. It’s a total blast to play--everybody says so. Add to that a unique, sparkling voice, and you’ve got a great guitar.
One of the main things I’ve found from people who love small guitars, what they love most about them is how easy they are to play--for a long time, with no fatigue or creaky elbows and shoulders. The ergonomic issues of big guitars just aren’t there.
While I build the Falcon to soar and swoop above the concert stage, and sail through the house on wings of song , a number of my Falcon clients have chosen this guitar to be their favorite stay-at-home couch guitar. I’m okay with that too. It’s cool that you have a guitar you really enjoy, ready at your whim to enjoy some leisurely tune-smithing. Sounds like quality-of-life to me.
The main point is, you should bust into a grin every time you pick this guitar up. It just makes you happy to play this guitar. The Falcon is one of those things that people just can’t put down.
